The Artistic Foundation
Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri is a Pakistani artist, educator and researcher whose practice spans painting, printmaking and sculpture. With more than four decades of engagement with art, education and cultural heritage, his work brings together creative practice, scholarship and conservation. His experience at the National College of Arts and within international artistic and academic contexts provides an important foundation for Studio MJ’s commitment to rigorous and culturally resonant contemporary art.
